Pork is haram. Undoubtful.

We were quite shocked because one of our doctors said, "I don't know why pork is HARAM,"

Here i found the answer.

i think this is my first comment here.in islam pork is considered unclean(najas).and the najis stuff are not allowed to be eaten like stool and blood.and i agree with the presenter at this point.but,i am here to tease ur mind with some questions:

1-what if i keep a pig on my own and feed it with cleaner food,same with cow and chicken?will it considered halal?i think the answer is no.pig is haram and najis cause of itself not what it eats.

2-are all of najis stuff harmful?i think the answer is no.as u know blood is najis.is blood tranfusion harmful?and try to search a hadeeth when rasulullah suggested some men to drink camel's pee for treatment.i'm not sure the authenticity of the hadeeth but i've heard about it several times.

so my conclusion is

1-pig is haram because it is najis
2-pig is najis because allah told us so.and i dont know why.and i just let myself to stop at this point
3-so i dont know why pig is haram.
4-i dont know whether i am agree with the doctor or not.need more elaboration rather than prejudgede
